Center Seam Mask Pattern

There a several patterns that use a center seam to create the mask shape. There is controversy over the use of a center seam in terms of protection but they are easy to make and some people prefer their more streamlined look. One of the significant challenges with the center seam masks is that the mask slips down the face and exposes the nose when the wearer is talking. So, you will see people pinching the fabric and moving the mask up to cover the nose. Exposing the nose and touching the mask while wearing it are both problematic. Michelle found this design. It has lots of breathing room and when used with a nose bridge wire it does not slip when talking.
